Purchase Ledger AssistantGrange Park, Northampton 1/2 Months Minimum- To start ASAP - To support with backlogs Up to £14.00 per hour
Macildowie are excited to be working with a well established business based in Northampton looking to add two purchase ledger assistants to their team to support with backlogs and inputting of invoices
This is a 1 month minimum temporary role to primarily support with inputting of invoices for their subcontractors, but will also support with invoice processing, and ensure a backlog does not build up.
The role is fully office based working Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00 - however for the right person they can be very flexible with the working hours
The salary for this role is up to £14.00ph dependent on experience.
This has the potential to move extremely quickly, perfect for someone on a short-term notice or immediately available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase invoices onto the COINS system
- Processing purchase invoices accurately and promptly.
- Handling approval procedures diligently.
- Resolving discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
- Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
