Field Service Engineer
East Midlands / East Anglia
OTE £50K + including call out and overtime
A great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a world leading engineering company renowned for providing high quality engineered components for the construction and mining industry.
As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and optimising the performance of plant and equipment at client sites in East of the country; East Anglia, Norfolk, North London, Essex, Leicestershire, Derbyshire.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, inspection, service and repair of plant and equipment including valves, pumps, cyclones, gearboxes, pulleys, crushers
- Planned maintenance and warranty work
- Installation and commissioning
- Provide guidance on equipment setup and optimal performance
- Technical support and troubleshooting; remote and on-site diagnostics
- Produce detailed technical reports
- Condition monitoring
- Reactive/ breakdown maintenance
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Apprentice trained engineer (C&G, NVQ 3, HNC)
- Min 3 years experience of maintenance of mechanical / electrical equipment in an industrial environment
- Good knowledge of mechanical components; bearings, fasteners, seals
- Technical expertise and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer focused approach and commitment to maintaining the highest standards
- Full UK Driving licence
- Flexibility to travel, spend time away from home and occasional weekend work

Basic Salary + Customer Site Rate + Call out (1 week in 4) + Overtime
