An inspirational charity , who support victims of domestic abuse are looking for a Head of Training and Programmes.

Location:Mainly at two sites in Central Northampton

Reports To:Chief Executive Officer

Role Overview:The Head of Training Programmesis responsible for creating, monitoring, and improving all programs at our clients charity. This includes services and activities aimed at supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse, as well as those exhibiting violent behaviours. The role involves evaluating the effectiveness of these programs, ensuring they meet the needs of clients, and finding new opportunities for the charity'sservices.

Working Hours:37 hours per week, with some occasional evening or out-of-hours work required, including occasional on-call support.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee all services and programs.

Ensure programs are effective and continually improving.

Work with the leadership team to set goals and strategies.

Represent the charity at public events and meetings.

Manage budgets and monitor the quality of programs.

Research and create new markets for the charity'sproducts and services.

Supervise and support staff and volunteers.

Requirements:

Knowledge:

Management qualifications and experience.

Understanding of domestic abuse policies or therapeutic models.

Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.

Experience:

Working with victims of domestic abuse orvulnerable individuals.

Experience in developing and delivering group programs.

Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to motivate and manage a team.

Good organizational and administrative skills.

Personal Qualities:

Commitment to the organization's Christian values.

Compassionate and respectful approach to service users.

Flexible and positive attitude.

Main Duties:

Guide the strategic direction and operational objectives of the charity.

Ensure all programs are safe, effective, and aligned with current needs.

Identify and develop new market opportunities for the charity'sservices.

Manage staff supervision, training, and development.

Contribute to team culture and organizational growth.

Miscellaneous:

Adhere to data protection and confidentiality laws.

Maintain records and report on program outcomes.

Participate in team events and ongoing training.

Provide managerial support on an on-call basis.
