Our Support and Safeguarding teams in Northamptonshire offer a nurturing and collaborative environment with a strong focus on positive outcomes. Covering a large, diverse county, these teams work with children and young people under Child Protection Plans, Child in Need plans, and, where necessary, court proceedings. The role involves regular visits and working alongside other professionals to develop plans that help children remain with their families when it is safe to do so.
What will you be doing?As a Social Worker in the Safeguarding team, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions to protect and promote the welfare of children and young people. You will work collaboratively with various professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care, applying your expertise to deliver high-quality social work services in line with statutory and legal obligations.
About you:We are looking for an experienced, qualified, and registered social worker who is passionate about safeguarding children and families. You will have completed your ASYE and possess excellent communication and analytical skills to build positive relationships with children, young people, and families, ensuring the delivery of purposeful social care.
