Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time (AVAILABLE FROM TOMORROW WITH ENHANCED DBS)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the classroom teacher and fostering a positive learning environment for our students.

Day to day of the role:

Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans.

Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.

Help maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive classroom environment.

Positively manage student behaviour and promote constructive interactions.

Aid in the preparation and grading of student assignments and assessments.

Support students with special needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to plan and execute school activities and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience working with primary school-aged children is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.

Teamwork abilities to work collaboratively with the school staff.

Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards education.

A commitment to creating and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
