Consultant - Supply Chain & LogisticsRemote£50,000 - £65,000 + bonus, car and benefitsOverview:Our client is a highly-regarded and well-established Supply Chain & Logistics consulting business offering a broad range of strategic interventions on behalf of a host of well known businesses across retail, FMCG, 3PL and beyond. Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a part as a member of the project teams focused on the delivery of a variety of consulting projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Use your in depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics and procurement to analyse client needs and assist in delivering tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing data, supply chain processes and systems.
  • Provide input into practical and pragmatic solutions to meet client organisational requirements.
  • Design, develop and implement customised supply chain and warehouse design solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Work with internal colleagues in skills appropriate project teams to deliver tailored support and improvements to clients.

Person Specification:

  • Degree qualified in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain management with at least 2 years in project delivery
  • Ideally a track record of designing and implementing supply chain solutions for a range of clients.
  • Preferably have a background in inventory, S&OP, operations within a flagship retail organisation and understand the challenges and strategic approaches around delivering improvements.
  • Experienced in working on complex projects from concept through to completion.
  • Highly adept in using supply chain management software and technologies and familiar with data analytic tools for supply chain diagnostics.
