The ideal candidate will have experience in upholstering chairs, panels, and other office furnishings, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet both aesthetic and functional standards.If you have a passion for craftsmanship and take pride in producing high-quality upholstered office furniture, we would love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities
  • Gluing materials securely.
  • Using staple guns to attach fabric and padding.
  • Stretching fabric to ensure a smooth and professional finish.
  • Measuring and cutting fabric accurately to fit furniture specifications.
  • Inserting and positioning padding for comfort and durability.
  • Applying webbing to support furniture structure.
  • Stripping and re-upholstering existing furniture, replacing materials as needed.
  • Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and durability.
  • Operating industrial sewing machines and other upholstery tools safely.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in upholstery,
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to measure, cut, and sew fabric accurately.
  • Experience with industrial upholstery tools and machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with precision.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of different types of upholstery fabrics and materials.
  • Experience with patternmaking and fabric layout.
