We are seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This role is also open to trainee lecturers. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, delivering, assessing, and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 5. You will also support and guide students to achieve success and realise their potential.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons across a range of Health and Social Care courses.
  • Assess and verify student work to ensure it meets course standards and learning outcomes.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, helping them to achieve their potential.
  • Stay updated with current developments in Health and Social Care to enhance teaching materials and practices.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure courses remain relevant and impactful.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a Health and Social Care related field.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
  • Vocational experience in the Health and Social Care sector.
  • Knowledge of current developments within the Health and Social Care specialty.
