We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our clients team. The role will involve the manufacturing of one-off and low volume parts, as well as working with the Engineering Team on development parts. The successful candidate will be proficient in TIG and MIG welding and brazing, and will have experience working with a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, nickel iron, and aluminium.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture one-off and low volume parts using TIG and MIG welding techniques
- Work with the Engineering Team on development parts
- Utilize various materials including mild steel, stainless steel, nickel iron, and aluminium
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within specified deadlines
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding and brazing
- Ability to work with a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, nickel iron, and aluminium
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols
Rate and Hours
- The rate for this position will be competitive and based on experience
- This is a full-time position with standard working hours, with potential for overtime as needed
