Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Northfleet, Kent (with travel to sites)
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 (depending on experience)
Car allowance and additional benefits included
Our client, a leader in the commercial and retail construction industry, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client valuations, cash flow forecasts, and monitoring
- Oversee accurate valuation, forecasting, and site preliminaries
- Ensure timely procurement of subcontractors and administration of contracts
- Handle subcontractor final accounts and ensure compliance with the Construction Act
- Provide timely and accurate documentation and reports
- Address any commercial threats and keep the Managing Surveyor informed
Requirements:
- Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience working with a Main Contractor
- Design and build experience
- Strong communication and commercial management skills
- Experience in commercial and retail construction (beneficial)
