We are pleased to partner with a leading global education and financial services provider, who are recruiting a Group Accountant to join their team. Reporting directly to a senior finance figure, this is a newly created role with significant scope for impact. This highly accessible organisation caters to people that would like to use both public transport or their own vehicle, for their five days a week going into the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and reporting packs for the senior leadership team.
  • Support in consolidating budgets and forecasts from numerous international entities.
  • Liaise closely with international finance teams to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
  • Help implement process improvements, including the potential introduction of a new consolidation system.
  • Undertake ad-hoc analysis and project work as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent Excel skills, including advanced formulas and modelling.
  • Good understanding of financial consolidation principles and best practices.
  • Exposure to working in a multi-entity, fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proactive, flexible and eager to learn.
