This full time permanent role will be based in Northolt for one of the UK's biggest importers.

Client Details

The client is an international importer and in the FMCG industry based in Northolt.

Description

The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to-

  • To organise all transport out of the company (customer orders, transfers to/from other warehouses) by liaising closely with the sales admin team and deal with any queries relating to UK transport.
  • To make sure that we get the most competitive and reliable solutions for UK transport.
  • To book all deliveries into the warehouse and 3rd party warehouses, ensuring the volumes and timings are in line with warehouse capacity and requirements.
  • To make sure that Order chasing spreadsheet and warehouse calendars are always up to date.
  • To check and process all UK transport and storage invoices in a timely manner.
  • To check and process all goods invoices in a timely manner and raise any query to the purchasing team.
  • To organise the sending of parcels from the company

Profile

The successful candidate will-

  • Have knowledge of Stock and logistics and have worked in a similar environment
  • Ideally have some knowledge of FMCG
  • Have an excellent attention to detail
  • Strong IT and system skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work in the office full time
