As a Mobile Plant Engineer, your main duties will include:
- Maintaining and repairing construction plant equipment to a high standard.
- Attending site breakdowns diagnosing faults, servicing, and conducting repairs.
- Working with a variety of equipment, including small tools, generators, pumps, diggers, excavators, rollers, telehandlers, and forklifts.
- Ensuring timely, efficient repairs and completing all required paperwork accurately.
- Collaborating with the team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For in a Mobile Plant Engineer:
- Proven mechanical experience in plant maintenance.
- Qualifications in plant maintenance such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in roles such as Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Workshop Plant Engineer.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A full UK clean driving license is essential.
