We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a passion for education and a special touch for adapting to the unique needs of students in an SEN (Special Educational Needs) setting. This role requires a compassionate individual with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who is ready to start as soon as possible and commit until the end of the academic year.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons that accommodate the diverse educational needs of SEN students.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
  • Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures for maintaining an environment conducive to learning.
  • Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors, and administrators to ensure that students are making progress.
  • Provide individualised instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
  • Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience as a Science Teacher.
  • Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organised and committed.
  • Creative and energetic.
  • Strong moral values and discipline.
