Accountant / Finance Business Partner

A Local Authority in Cheshire who are looking to appoint a talented Accountant/Business Partner on an Interim basis are working with Spencer Clarke Group to find their next successful candidate.

What's on offer:

  • Rates: £300+ per day, inside IR35.

*Negotiable based on experience

  • Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
  • Hours: 09:00 -16:20

About the role:

To provide Finance Business Partner support to the Council's external companies. The companies are being brought back in-house so a major change project is underway and needing financial support as part of the role.

Based in South East Wales (Hybrid):

Responsibilities:

  • They are responsible for delivering waste collection, waste disposal and bereavement services.
  • Activities include in-year reporting, budget setting and year-end work plus company specific items such as VAT, company accounts etc.

About you:You will have the following experience:

  • Public Sector Experience.
  • Professional accounting qualification, CIPFA qualification or CCAB equivalent etc.
