Client Details

Our client is a privately owned business based in the Cheshire area that has been through enormous organic growth as well as through acquisition. They operate in a fast paced sector in which there is lots of exciting change and opportunities for the right, proactive individual to develop with the organisation.

Description

As Management Accountant, you will work as part of a team to prepare the Group Management Accounts, with responsibility for a full trading entity. You will also be a key stakeholder in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with auditors.

You will have the opportunity to get involved in forecasting and will be responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and corporation tax analysis.

Not always typical of a Management Accountant role, it will be your responsibility to prepare commercial analysis. There will also be lots of process improvement work for you to get involved in; everything works in this business but the senior team recognise that there is always room for improvement!

Profile

The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is newly qualified and looking for a move from practice. It's equally exciting for someone who is newly qualified in industry, in any private sector organisation.

You may have several year's post qualification experience as a Management/ Financial Accountant however, it's not essential that this is the case.

It is absolutely crucial that you are a pro-active and motivated individual who is committed to accuracy and strives for success.
