My client is seeking a number of dynamic and results-driven Field-Based Business Development Manager to join their small but growing team where there will be great scope for career progression.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about knocking on doors in and around industrial estates, handing out information to potential clients, and gathering contact details for the decision makers within those businesses.

This role requires a proactive approach to B2B sales, with the goal of expanding the clients database and driving business growth.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Actively visit industrial estates and business locations to identify potential clients.
  • Distribute information and promotional materials to prospective clients.
  • Obtain and record contact details for decision-makers within target businesses.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through effective field sales techniques.
  • Work towards and achieve set sales targets and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Candidate Requirement:

  • 6-12 months of B2B sales experience.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel within the designated areas (Staffordshire, Yorkshire, Cheshire, etc.).
  • Road Freight / Transport experience is desired but not essential.
  • Valid driver’s license is a MUST!
