Sales Manager - FMCG Products (Grocery)

Developing commercial relationships - grocery retailers

To £75,000pa + car, bonus & benefits

Flexible location (North West based Head Office)

The role:

Reporting to the UK Sales & Marketing Director, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong commercial relationships, and driving growth.

Although standalone initially, this position will evolve into people management and therefore requires a dynamic and proactive individual who excels in a high-stakes, relationship-driven environment.

Responsibilities will include:

- Bringing in new customers, managing accounts and growing relationships

- Developing sales strategies to achieve business objectives

- Providing insight into trends / consumer behaviours to inform product development

- Leading and mentoring sales professionals to foster a positive business culture that puts the customer at the forefront of everything

The person:

- Experience in sales and account management within the grocery or FMCG sector

- Track record of winning and managing key accounts and hitting targets

- Able to upsell both brand and 'private label' technical capabilities

- Negotiating and managing relationships with stakeholders

- Leadership and team management exposure

- Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
