Job Title: Cut and Crease Operator
Location: Stockport
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
o Mon - Fri (Double days)
o 6-1.30pm and 1.30pm - 9pm with a paid half hour break
Salary: Dependent On Experience
About my Client:
My client are one of the UK's leading manufacturers of carton board packaging products to businesses across the UK. With over 40 years experience in the print, production and packaging industry, they deliver innovative packaging solutions that protect and help sell products. Now they're looking for an experienced Cut and Crease Operator to join their team.
Key responsibilities of a Cut and Crease Operator:
- Making ready jobs for die-cutting.
- Running and monitoring of jobs ensuring quality is maintained.
- Completing appropriate paperwork to verify operator, quantities and QC.
- Daily machine maintenance and Health & Safety checks.
- Completing other daily duties and requests from a Manager or Supervisor
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Occasional voluntary weekend overtime
Experience required for a Cut and Crease Operator:
- 2 years minimum experience in working on a large Cut & Crease Die Cutter Machine.
- Operate a Bobst and Eterna or similar Cut Crease Die Cutter Machine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Motivated with positive helpful attitude
- Reliable, and trustworthy
- Team player with ability to also work on own initiative
- Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety
