We're hiring for Forestry Workers in Northwich





Pay Rate:
£11.44 per hour + performance bonus scheme

Overtime during the week £ 15.12 per hour

Overtime during the weekend £20.16 per hour


About the Plant Nursery Role:
The work at the nurseries involves field-based open nursery operations and polyhouse nursery operations, for the growing, tending, processing and supply of bare root and container grown forest transplants.

Examples:

  • Tree picker ( following behind the tractor collecting tree's)
  • Grading and pulling of plants
  • Sorting through small trees for quality and size
  • Packing in to sacks
  • lifting plants
  • grading plants
  • packing plants
  • chemical (gazelle) treatment
  • lining out seedlings and rooted cuttings
  • taking cuttings and hand weeding
  • Cutting down trees
  • Heavy Lifting


This role will involve outdoor working

Week 1 - Monday - Friday 07:15 - 16:00

Full Up to date CV with no gaps

References to cover the last three years

DBS check - which we will carry out on your behalf

Safety boots or wellingtons - no trainers
