Accounts Administrator (Temporary - 6 Weeks)Location: Birchwood, Warrington (Fully Office-Based)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Rate: £12.56-£13.56 per hourDuration: 6 weeks covering sickness (with potential for extension)

We're currently seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced office team based in Birchwood, Warrington. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity with the potential for extension, ideal for someone with strong administrative and accounts experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting invoices and ensuring accurate data entry
  • Monitoring and managing the accounts inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Handling customer account amendments and system updates
  • Liaising with depots via telephone to resolve account queries and reopen customer accounts
  • Monitoring shared mailboxes and distributing information appropriately
  • Supporting the accounts department with ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Accurately updating internal systems and maintaining records

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a busy office environment, ideally within an accounts function but not essential
  • Confident managing shared inboxes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as within a team
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and internal systems
