Secured Lending Solicitor / Case Handler – Real Estate Douglas Scott is seeking a dedicated and proactive Secured Lending Solicitor / Case Handler to join our client’s award-winning Real Estate department.This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional client service while ensuring compliance with professional and firm standards. You will report directly to the Head of Secured Lending, managing a caseload primarily of remortgages, with some purchases and occasional dual representation for borrowers.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding client service, ensuring clear communication and proactive case management.
  • Manage a full caseload of secured lending matters, meeting financial and billing targets.
  • Ensure compliance with professional conduct rules, internal policies, and agreed SLAs.
  • Participate in business development to drive caseload growth and cross-sell services.
  • Effectively use case management and practice systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity for contacts, clients, and matters.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in secured lending, remortgages, and real estate transactions.
