Description

路 You will be required to set goals and monitor progress for the daily performance of your own production plant and that of site, delivering safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and cost reduction targets.

路 With a safety first approach, Take an active role in the site emergency response teams and site/main incidents controller, ensuring competence of personnel within their roles

路 Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to and be involved in improving and developing procedures, carry out risk assessments and safety inspections.

路 Support the Site Health and Safety Manager in ensuring compliance to the COMAH 2015 regulations working with others to continually improve the Health, Safety and Quality systems including completion of internal audits and plant inspections.

路 Manage Production shift team leaders within your plant

路 In line with the company strategy of continuous improvement overseeing and developing employee performance and process improvement, with close relations to the maintenance team.

路 Work with the Laboratory / QA, Engineering Manager, Projects Manager to support Production.

路 To be one of the nominated Site Main Controllers during incidents and on site/ off site plan exercises. To assist with the set up of the formalised procedures for incident management.

路 Leading communications for all multi-disciplines to maximise production output in a safe manner.

路 Annual improvement planning, performance accountability and responsibility within Operations.

路 Proactively look for opportunities to drive continuous improvement, influence decisions and deliver the results whilst ensuring a high level of compliance.

路 Manage and execute for defined metrics and quality, maintain clear metrics on our investigation handling volumes, performance, and decision quality.

路 Develop and drive a culture of operational excellence and drive lean process improvement for all operations and maintenance activities.

路 Analysis of the key performance indicators of the business to identify trends and proactively take action to eliminate root cause.

路 Drive operational efficiencies across all processing areas whilst improving internal and external customer experience

Profile

路 You will be an Engineer or Applied Chemist qualified to degree or postgraduate level in an engineering discipline or strength in experience of similar roles.

路 Proven Operational Excellence (site manager, plant manager, production manager, operations manager, factory manager) within a top tier COMAH operational facility;

路 Experienced leader with ability to manage, coach and develop others

路 Commercially aware, with the ability to manage cost and budgets effectively

路 Experience within a Multi-disciplinary Engineering team.

路 Computer literate - Project ,Word, Excel, Access, and internet explorer

路 demonstrable examples of driving efficiencies, cost reductions, waste reduction and opportunity identification.

路 Strong, self-driven leader with demonstrated ability to proactively drive, manage and grow an operations and multi discipline teams.

路 Strong project management, people coaching and development skills.

路 Demonstrable driving improvement, innovating new processes, technologies and driving out waste

路 Robust Operations financial acumen and business understanding, linking performance with financial outputs and considerations.

路 Attention to detail with ability to hit deadlines and milestones.

路 High levels of diplomacy, communication and emotional intelligence awareness and understanding.

路 Change management, experience of transformational, and associated people side of change.

路 Manufacturing, production, or distribution logistics environments in a proven role, managing large scale operations.

路 Demonstrated track record of team leadership within a large scale, fast-moving and process-driven environment: end-to-end process management experience is a must.
