SRG is working with a leading global developer of antimicrobial products. Recently a new vacancy has opened for a manager of regulatory activities with their biocidal products. This opportunity would suit someone with some previous experience in BPR who is looking for a step up in responsibility. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with industry regulations and managing the company's regulatory portfolio. Applications welcome from regulatory professionals with experience in biocides or similar chemical regulations. Monthly travel to the company's site in Cheshire will likely be necessary.

Role Description

  • Providing regulatory support on company biocidal products (UK and EU)
  • Generating poison centre notifications in various territories
  • Liaising with regulatory authorities and technical team for new product development
  • Supporting the company by keeping up to date with GB and EU regulations on biocides, REACH and CLP
  • Identifying compliance issues with company products and insuring safety

Requirements

  • Experience in biocidal product regulation (BPR)
  • An awareness and understanding of REACH and CLP would be advantageous
  • Degree educated in chemistry, biology or similar relevant discipline
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries (detergents, insecticides, cosmetics etc…)
  • Good communication skills
  • Full right to work in the UK.
