Seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Maths teacher in Halton

A leading secondary school in Surrey is in search of a skilled and passionate teacher of KS3-KS4 Mathematics to join their team on a long-term, full-time temporary contract starting at the beginning of January 2025.

The school is situated in a desirable catchment area with excellent transport links and offers a manageable timetable, including ample PPA time and balanced teaching time for Maths classes for students aged 11-16 with mixed ability levels.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic teacher to join a supportive and successful department.

As a secondary Mathematics teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluting and monitoring student progress
  • Collaborating with other teachers and department members
  • Participating in department meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Advising and mentoring students and parents

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A degree in Mathematics or related field
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • A proven track record of teaching KS3-KS4 Maths
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a desire to inspire students
  • A valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one
