£12.39 per hour (Weekends)

PS Recruitment are recruiting experienced support workers to work for our fantastic client that offers supported living for adults with learning disabilities. Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial for this position. The successful support worker must have a minimum of 1 years experience or 6 months experience and a recognised qualification in Health and Social care. This role will require flexibility around availability as shifts include evening, daytime, weekends, and sleep ins (there are no waking nights). This is a temporary ongoing position however our client is looking for full time and permanent staff. Please be aware that a DBS check will be required for this position. Duties of this role of support worker will include:

• Administering medication
• Personal Care
• Community support
• Creating a relaxed atmosphere
• Preparing Meals, Beverages and snacks for service users
• Being an active member of the team
• Adhering to all procedures whilst on site (GDPR, fire safety etc)

The successful support worker must

• Have 1 years experience in social care or 6 months experience with a recognised qualification
• Be caring and attentive
• Be understanding
• Have great communication skills.
• Have previous experience caring for adults with learning disabilities.
