System/Build Engineer - Instrumentation - Cheshire - LM1213

Job Outline:

My client who is a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist scientific instrumentation, now seeks a System/Build Engineer to join their team in Cheshire.

On a daily basis you will take responsibility for the build/assembly and testing of both standard and bespoke systems, as well as carrying out service and repair of customer equipment.

You will also assemble production build kits and take responsibility for sourcing products when required.

You will also as create/update production diagrams/documentation and run the workshop to a high standard of safety and cleanliness.

In addition to this, you will also work closely with the end customer to update on build status, as well as undertaking installation and set up activities at the customer’s site.

This is a hands-on role covering all aspects of build.

Experience:

Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

It is expected that you have electrical, electronic and mechanical assembly skills. Preferably from a low volume, high precision manufacturing/build environment.
