Job Opportunity: Band 6 Dispensary Pharmacist - NHS Hopsital - North West London/Hertfordshire
Role: Band 6 Locum Pharmacist – Hospital based
Hours: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break)
Duration: ASAP start (December), initially for 3 months (with potential for extension)
Location: North West London/Hertfordshire
Rates: £23 - £26 per hour via UmbrellaÂ
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening and checking medications
- Inpatient Dispensary Role
- Some medication counselling (particularly hatch counselling)
- Dispensing and checking prescriptions
Requirements:
- Community pharmacy experience is acceptable (hospital experience is ideal, but not essential)
- Available to start ASAP
- Ideally full-time (Mon-Fri), but part-time (3-4 days per week) may be considered depending on experience
- Previous experience in a dispensary setting is beneficial
Additional Information:
- Band 7 positions are not available due to funding limitations
