PROPERTY MANAGER/ TRAINEE PROPERTY MANAGER - NORTHWOOD - £25K - £35K DOE

*No property visits, office based*

An exciting opportunity to join an established lettings and property management team based in Northwood!

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who has great organisational skills and a love of the property industry - it is also very important to have an unflappable demeanour as well as a firm, but fair approach to the job in hand. This position is open to experienced Property Managers, plus those without experience who wish to start a career in property management - full training will be given if it is the latter.

THIS IS A MONDAY TO FRIDAY POSITION!

Some of the specifics will include but are not exclusive to:

  • Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors to resolve maintenance issues
  • Dealing with end of tenancy deposit returns
  • Arranging property inspections on a regular basis and reporting back to the landlord
  • Sending out check out reports to tenants and landlords when a tenancy has ended
  • Sending out utility letters/emails to utility companies and councils at the end of the tenancy’s and providing meter readings
  • Checking invoices received against works orders
  • Arrears chasing for the portfolio and updating all parties
  • End of tenancy preparing of notices

You must possess:

  • A good level of IT skills
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Problem solving nature
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport
  • The ability to remain calm and focused while under pressure, due to the nature of the working environment and volume fluctuation
