NXTGEN is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and growing practice in Norwich to recruit a Corporate Tax Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and outgoing team with a mix of backgrounds, including professionals from Top 10 and Top 50 firms, creating a collaborative and supportive environment where knowledge-sharing is part of the culture. As the new Corporate Tax Assistant, you'll be joining at an exciting time as the office and firm continue to grow, securing a significant share of the market.

As Corporate Tax Assistant, you'll benefit from working closely with some of the best in the market, gaining exposure to a diverse client portfolio spanning multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of corporate tax returns for a broad range of clients, including SMEs and larger groups
  • Assisting with tax computations and supporting clients with year-end tax reporting requirements
  • Supporting senior team members with tax planning projects, including group structuring and R&D claims
  • Liaising directly with clients to provide clear advice and address queries in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with other teams within the practice to provide joined-up advice on business structures and transactions
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and identifying potential tax planning opportunities for clients

What the client is looking for:

  • ATT qualified or studying towards ATT/CTA, with practical experience in a corporate tax environment
  • Experience of preparing corporate tax returns within an accountancy practice
  • A proactive and client-focused approach, with excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage workloads effectively
