Pure are partnering with Norse Groups Support Services Division to recruit a Financial Accountant for their Finance Department at the Head Office on Fifers Lane.
This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract role requiring 37 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in a similar Financial Accountant role and hold a recognized professional finance/accounting qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
The position offers a competitive salary of up to £56,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with various benefits including 25 days annual leave and a company pension scheme.

Pure are partnering with Norse Groups Support Services Division. The division has an exciting opportunity within our Finance Department for a Financial Accountant to join the team based at our Head Office on Fifers Lane. This role is on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.The Role:Reporting into the Head of Financial Accounting, you will be required to assist with monthly and annual financial reporting for the group, playing a key role working with both the wider finance function and the operational business; ensure that accurate and complete information is filed in line with statutory deadlines. Duties will include:

Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with the relevant international and UK accounting standards.
Assisting with cash-flow forecasting, modelling and monitoring projections for the Norse Group.
Preparation of the Group finance pack, which is distributed to the business on a monthly basis.
Preparation of VAT return workings and associated reconciliations.
Overseeing the preparation of the corporation tax returns in conjunction with external advisors.
Assisting in the management of the external audit process and liaise with internal auditors where necessary.

Our Successful Candidate:You will have previous experience within a similar Financial Accountant role within a busy and diverse business, alongside:

Recognised professional finance / accounting qualification and ongoing membership, including ACCA, ACA or equivalent
Technical knowledge and experience of applying both IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101) accounting standards
Good understanding of tax rules and legislation (particularly in relation to VAT)
Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate across senior levels
Able to effectively manage your workload within a deadline driven environment
