Atkinson Moss are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting key financial operations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic financial planning while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.

Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll tax filings.

Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.

Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.

Support the finance team with process improvements, automation, and system upgrades.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior accountants, fostering professional growth.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and financial best practices.

You will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified and have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial accounting or auditing.
