Are you an experienced Operations Manager? Seeking a new role?

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager managing and optimisng their supply chain, logistics, quality control, and warehousing. You’ll play a key role in fully implementing our Sage X3 ERP system and transforming our manual processes into efficient, automated workflows.

The Role:

  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the operations of warehouses in both the UK and the Netherlands, ensuring optimal inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Recommend strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable supply and cost-effective procurement.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and standards in both the UK and the Netherlands.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain robust quality control processes for our dancewear products.

Strategic Leadership

  • Business Strategy: Execute the company’s vision to implement business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational and financial performance, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the operations teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, ensuring the stability and sustainability of the business.

IT & Systems

  • Work with the Managing Director and Applications Support Engineer to ensure the stability of the ERP system so Sage X3 properly integrates with all endpoints as needed.
  • Contribute significantly to the successful completion of the Sage X3 implementation.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational KPIs and project progress for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar senior role in a manufacturing, supply chain, or retail environment.
  • Extensive experience with Sage X3 ERP system (required).
  • Strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and warehousing.
  • Experience in quality control processes, preferably in the apparel industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
