Job Vacancy: Construction Manager for Sports Hall Project at HMP Norwich

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a sports hall project at HMP Norwich. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, particularly in challenging environments. Previous experience within Ministry of Justice (MoJ) or prison construction would be highly beneficial.

Key Requirements:

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certified.
Black CSCS Card holder.
Experience working in challenging environments, especially within MoJ or prisons, is preferred.
Strong ability to work on your own initiative and demonstrate team leadership.
NVQ Level 6 or suitable management qualifications.
Experience managing both external and internal works.
Experience with sports hall builds (steel frame already up) is advantageous.
Able to manage and oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget.

Details:

Hours: 07:30 to 17:30, flexible based on project requirements.
Rate: 300 to 350 per day, CIS/Umbrella, dependent on experience.
Preferably, candidates should reside within a practical commuting distance of Norwich.

Start Date: ASAP. A brief interview will be held for shortlisted candidates.
