NXTGEN is looking for an experienced and passionate Bookkeeper to join a thriving Accountancy practice just north of Norwich. Due to significant organic growth and increasing demand from both new and long-standing clients, the firm has recently expanded its office, creating the need for this newly established Bookkeeper role.

As a Bookkeeper, you'll receive hands-on guidance from experienced Managers who are committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As the new Bookkeeper, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality bookkeeping services to a diverse client base, supporting with VAT returns, assisting with management accounts and general day to day client queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Bookkeeping services, ensuring accurate financial records for a variety of clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Support clients with ad hoc queries and provide guidance on their financial processes.

What the client is looking For:

  • Prior experience in an Accountancy practice or a similar Bookkeeper role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
