Maintenance Surveyor

  • Location: Hybrid – Norwich
  • Hours: 21 hours per week / part time 3 days a week 
  • Job Type: Temp 1-month rolling contract  

We are seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to join a large social housing organisation based within Norwich to cover the local region. This role is crucial in overseeing both in-house and external repair services, ensuring high standards of delivery that meet customer expectations and provide value for money.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Carry out pre and post-inspections and create detailed reports for responsive repairs, void works, and cyclical repairs.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage the performance and progress of the repairs service, ensuring that quality works are delivered on time, with minimal defects, and within budget.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant statutory regulations. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualification in a property-related discipline, such as HNC in Surveying, or a degree-level qualification.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body such as RICS or CIOB 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage customer relationships.
  • Ability to travel across the region as required – full UK Driving Licence required 
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK; not able to offer visa sponsorship.
