Maintenance Surveyor
- Hourly rate: £26.21 PAYE or £35.22 UmbrellaÂ
- Location: Hybrid – Norwich
- Hours: 21 hours per week / part time 3 days a weekÂ
- Job Type: Temp 1-month rolling contract Â
We are seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to join a large social housing organisation based within Norwich to cover the local region. This role is crucial in overseeing both in-house and external repair services, ensuring high standards of delivery that meet customer expectations and provide value for money.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Carry out pre and post-inspections and create detailed reports for responsive repairs, void works, and cyclical repairs.
- Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.
- Manage the performance and progress of the repairs service, ensuring that quality works are delivered on time, with minimal defects, and within budget.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant statutory regulations.Â
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualification in a property-related discipline, such as HNC in Surveying, or a degree-level qualification.
- Membership in a relevant professional body such as RICS or CIOBÂ
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage customer relationships.
- Ability to travel across the region as required – full UK Driving Licence requiredÂ
- Must be eligible to work in the UK; not able to offer visa sponsorship.
