Join an award-winning organisation dedicated to supporting women and girls. We are currently seeking a a new team member to join our team. This role is crucial in providing support for women experiencing homelessness, focusing on helping them access and maintain safe and secure housing.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide gender and trauma-informed support to women facing multiple disadvantages such as poor mental health, isolation, and substance use.
- Work closely with various agencies to tailor support to the unique needs of each client.
- Act as a point of contact for team members regarding client cases, manage case documentation, and ensure effective referral pathways.
- Oversee safeguarding concerns, complete relevant reporting, and assist with internal training as a Designated Safeguarding Officer.
- Address barriers to service access faced by clients, including those related to language, racism, disability, sexuality, gender, and health.

This role requires flexibility with occasional early mornings and late evenings. Due to the nature of the role, it is a General Occupational Requirement that this position be filled by a female (exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).
