We are looking for a bright and positive-minded Account Manager to provide excellent sales service whilst demonstrating the ability to handle customer enquiries and convert into sales in a courteous, confident, and professional manner.

Our client, who operate within industrial supplies sales and distribution, will need you to offer the best solutions to customer queries whilst keeping the best interests of the company in mind. You will also be responsible for increasing sales from allocated accounts through proactive account management.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with allocated accounts by establishing regular/planned contact.
  • Carry out calling campaigns from supplied lists.
  • Continuously review customer activity and account manage allocated accounts maintaining contact to grow sales. Provide a complete service to your accounts including product sourcing, quoting, and follow up through to delivery and complete customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure calls are well prepared and professionally presented, and objections are overcome positively and respectfully.
  • Proactively converting enquiries into confirmed sales.
  • Applying attention to detail whilst entering customer, and sales details into the business system. Ensuring that all relevant customer information is captured and recorded.
  • Positively encourage lapsed customers to order again.
  • Liaising with other internal departments in a timely and proficient manner where relevant.
  • Processing of orders and manning the chat service.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of sales service.

Salary is up to £24k/annum dependent on experience.

Office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm
