Sales Manager

On behalf of a leading IT provider, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager/Sales Manager to lead and motivate a solutions department to achieve sales targets and drive company growth. The successful candidate will ensure that customer service remains a top priority, monitor team member KPIs and ensure these are achieved, whilst using your experience to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the solutions team, including individual and department KPIs, training & development, performance appraisals, and daily staffing levels.
  • Maintaining sales pipeline, attending customer meeting - ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, sales gross margin versus target, preparing and presenting sales forecasts and reports.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, identifying opportunities to cross-sell, and identifying process improvements.
  • Acting as a leader amongst the team, motivating team performance, continue to drive excellent customer service, demonstrate strong communication, enthusiasm, and a personable approach.

Skills/experience

  • Proven experience providing excellent customer service and customer retention.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities.
  • Experience leading a team or mentoring team members.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a strong communicator.
  • Experience working in the 'Tech' industry or IT sales.
