Job Title:CNC Turner Setter Operator
Shift:Day Shift,Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4:30pm and Friday - 8am to 13:30pm
Rate:14- 16.50 p/h
The Job
- Setting, and operating machines using proven programs
- Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual)
- Maintain clean and tidy stations
- Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
- Training Other members of the Turning section in setting machines.
Requirements
- Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company
- Competent in Fanuc controls (ESSENTIAL)
- Strong understanding of Fanuc programs with ability to edit, re-run tools
- Able to move offsets
- Able to prove unproven programs, safely
- Competent in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality
- Working to tight tolerances
