Project Coordinator Operations (Commercial Solar PV and Battery)

We are a leading commercial solar PV company specialising in ground-mounted, rooftop, and solar carport/canopy installations, along with battery backup systems. Our mission is to drive the UKs transition to renewable energy by delivering high-quality, innovative solar solutions for businesses and organisations.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Project Coordinator to support our Operations team in the successful delivery of large-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. This role is ideal for a highly organised, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple projects.
What Youll Be Doing
- Supporting Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and tracking project milestones to ensure smooth execution.
- Assisting in scheduling, procurement, and logistics, ensuring materials and resources arrive on time.
- Communicating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams, maintaining alignment on project timelines and requirements.
- Maintaining and updating project documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Assisting with health & safety documentation, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Coordinating site visits, inspections, and progress meetings.
- Tracking and managing project budgets, invoices, and cost reports.
- Helping to identify potential risks or delays, working with the team to implement solutions.
- Ensuring smooth handover of completed projects to clients, supporting final documentation and sign-off.
What Were Looking For
- Experience in project coordination, administration, or support, ideally within construction, renewable energy, or electrical industries.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and project management tools.
- Understanding of construction, electrical, or renewable energy processes (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of health & safety compliance in construction or energy projects is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail.
