 We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage the full lifecycle of retail fitout projects across multiple locations in the UK. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will excel in managing contracts, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and optimizing resource allocation for efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Scheduling:

    • Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines 
    • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to align expectations and establish clear project goals.
    • Monitor progress and adapt schedules to maintain productivity and minimize project delays.
  • Contract Management:

    • Prepare, review, and manage contractual documents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
    • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring favourable terms and risk mitigation.
    • Monitor contract fulfillment and handle any disputes or changes in contract scope.
  • Quality & Compliance Control:

    • Enforce quality standards and health & safety regulations across all site activities.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure projects meet required specifications and regulations.
    • Manage any non-compliance issues promptly and liaise with relevant parties to resolve them.
  • Budget Management:

    • Work with the estimating team to assist with the budgeting process, manage expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
    • Track costs against budget, highlighting any areas of potential savings or overspend.
    • Update stakeholders on budget performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency and clear communication throughout the project.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and address concerns or changes as they arise.
    • Collaborate with project teams, site managers, and other departments to drive project success.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management 
  • Good knowledge of health & safety regulations and construction standards in the UK.
  • Strong budgeting, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and general IT skills.
  • Must be or willing to be SMSTS trained.

 This role requires flexibility to travel to multiple project sites across the UK and may involve working extended hours to meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, have strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
