About you

  • You’ll be an experienced Deputy Manager / Supported Living Manager / Service Manager of a care service before - such as a residential care home or supported living service.
  • You’ll be driven by a passion to deliver services for people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities that are truly-person centred and make a difference to people’s lives.
  • Ideally, you’ll hold QCF level 5 qualification in Leadership of Social Care but if not, as long as you are willing to work towards it, we can consider you.
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of CQC standards, and legislation relevant to managing social care.

The Deputy Manager Role

  • Supporting and managing the teams who deliver care within the care home and ensuring that high-quality person centred support is consistently provided.
  • Development and implementation of systems and processes within the service .
  • Ensuring through auditing that all care documentation is up to date
  • Dealing with any safeguarding
  • Ensure that when people’s care needs change that they are re-assessed, and new contracts put in place to meet people’s needs.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
