This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio, including owner-managed businesses, large corporates, and listed companies, providing audit, accounts preparation, and tax computation services.

About the RoleAs an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Plan and lead audit engagements, managing onsite teams (70% of your time).
  • Prepare accounts and draft tax computations (30% of your time).
  • Review team members' work, providing constructive feedback and quality assurance.
  • Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and build relationships.
  • Manage assignment time and budgets to ensure efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, helping them to grow in their roles.

Who We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will be a proactive and driven professional who is eager to grow and contribute to the team. You should have:

  • Experience conducting statutory audits in an accountancy practice
  • Part or fully qualified ACA or ACCA
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships.
  • Familiarity with audit software (e.g., Caseware) and Microsoft Office.
