Job Title: Plant Financial Controller

Reports to: CFO and General Manager
Are you a seasoned financial professional with a strong background in manufacturing? Our client is seeking a Plant Financial Controller to join their Norwich team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the plant, ensuring that operational efficiency and cost control targets are met. Your strategic insights and collaboration with other departments will be crucial in driving both financial success and production excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Reporting:Â Develop and oversee budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. Prepare and present financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
Operational Support: Analyse production data to identify inefficiencies, work with procurement to optimise supply chain decisions, and implement cost-saving initiatives through lean manufacturing principles.
Inventory & Capex Control: Ensure accurate inventory accounting, oversee physical inventory counts, and assess the financial viability of capital projects, providing cost-benefit analysis and recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between finance and other departments, facilitating regular financial reviews and supporting new product development with cost estimation and profitability analysis.
Your Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP FI/CO, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
A high degree of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
