Role Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and business tax clients
  • Supervise the preparation of Corporation Tax Returns, computations, and related advice
  • Provide remuneration planning and profit extraction strategies for clients
  • Advise on tax issues relating to business acquisitions and disposals, including Business Asset Disposal Relief, collaborating with the Corporate Finance team on M&A transactions
  • Lead corporate group restructuring projects and advise on Capital Allowances
  • Handle R&D tax credits, Patent Box, and Land Remediation Relief claims
  • Manage cross-border tax issues, including Transfer Pricing and large company compliance
  • Provide expertise on Employment Related Securities, employee share schemes, and Loan Relationships
  • Oversee tax due diligence and advise on EIS/SEIS
  • Mentor and support junior staff in both tax compliance and advisory roles
  • Participate in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified or studying, with extensive experience in UK practice
  • Strong corporate and business tax experience within a professional services environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Proficiency in ICT (Excel, Word), with Alphatax and CCH software experience being an advantage
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within East Anglia
