HR Advisor

Venn Group are delighted to have partnered with one of our highly-regarded public sector clients to source an experienced and personable HR professional for the following opportunity:
Location: Norwich (hybrid working)
Contract: 9 months fixed term
Salary: £44,950 per annum pro rata
Hours: 30 hours per week
Your duties will include:
- Supporting organisational change initiatives, advising managers on the consultation process and undertaking individual interviews. This will include advising on TUPE transfers
- Providing professional HR advice to all levels of managers across the full range of employee relations issues including grievance, discipline, capability, absence, performance management, redeployment, and dignity at work
- Advising and supporting the organisation in the interpretation and application of terms and conditions of service, employment law and Human Resources policy and procedures
- Working closely with key stakeholders to support them through the TUPE process, ensuring all changes are communicated effectively and any risks are mitigated
- Coaching, supporting and advising managers during investigations in relation to all aspects of employment practices
- Autonomously managing individual employee relations cases, adhering to broad organisational HR policies and legislation
- Maintaining a constructive relationship and partnership working with staff side representatives and Trade Unions and professional representatives
The successful candidate should have:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
- Prior TUPE experience (desirable)
- Proven generalist HR experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Please note, you must be willing and able to travel to Norwich on a weekly basis for this particular role.
