This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer to lead on a key project, in line with company growth.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the upgrade and improvement of the organisation’s current network infrastructure.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor and optimise network performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and following best practices.
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and documentation of network solutions.
  • Conduct diagnostics and performance tests to ensure network health.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes.
  • Support the wider IT to provide more general IT support (1st & 2nd Line) to the organisation.
Experience Required:
  • Demonstrable experience of managing company network infrastructure, including the configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security.
  • Experience with VPNs and firewall management.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to provide general IT support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
