- Lead the upgrade and improvement of the organisation’s current network infrastructure.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor and optimise network performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and following best practices.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and documentation of network solutions.
- Conduct diagnostics and performance tests to ensure network health.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes.
- Support the wider IT to provide more general IT support (1st & 2nd Line) to the organisation.
- Demonstrable experience of managing company network infrastructure, including the configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security.
- Experience with VPNs and firewall management.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to provide general IT support.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
