About the EPR Project Manager Roles:
As an EPR Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. Working across multiple organisations, you will lead sub-projects in areas such as infrastructure, data migration, interfaces and security. This role requires strong project management skills to oversee governance, mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery within budget. You will collaborate with technical, operational and clinical teams to deliver this transformation.
Key Skills and Experience for the Project Managers:
- Significant experience managing large-scale, complex projects with a focus on delivering measurable improvements.
- Proficiency in project governance, risk management and benefits realisation planning.
- Strong understanding of technical environments, including infrastructure and data management.
- Proven ability to analyse complex data and develop actionable strategies.
- Experience in change management and influencing diverse teams to adopt new technologies and processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adjust plans to meet evolving programme needs.
- Familiarity with NHS Digital deliverables and the national modernisation agenda.
Desirable Skills for the Project Managers:
- ITIL Foundation Certificate or equivalent experience in service management principles
- Experience developing policies and ensuring compliance with project standards
