My client is a local firm of independent mortgage and protection consultants providing personable advice to a national client base, whilst still being synonymous with all things Norfolk.
My client is looking for a driven and enthusiastic manager to become a vital part of the smooth running of their administrative team. The successful candidate will undertake management and administrative tasks, ensuring the administrators have adequate support to work efficiently within the admin team and will report into the Directorship team.
Location - North Norwich - Free On-site parking
Employment Type - Full Time, Permanent
Salary -£28k - £30k per annum depending on experience.
Working hours - Monday to Friday, 9am -6pm
Holiday allowance - 20 days + Bank holidays (+ Your Birthday off)
Job Overview- Head of Administration Responsibilities:
- You will manage a team of administrators
- You will assist the team with telephone calls to mortgage lenders, solicitors, insurance providers and GP’s to obtain the latest case updates and report these back to the corresponding mortgage advisors
- You will keep internal records updated
- You will handle queries from Mortgage Advisors / Estate agents and Managing Directors.
- You will carry out additional duties in busier periods, including producing marketing materials to send externally to referrers
- You will assist with the keying of mortgage applications up until submission of the application
- You will allocate referrals to Mortgage Advisors and liaising with Estate Agents
- You will provide weekly and monthly updates to Estate agents.
- You will assist the Managing Directors with ad-hoc duties when required.
Head of Administration Requirements:
Previous Mortgage Administration experience (desirable).
Previous experience managing/supervising a team.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word and outlook).
Excellent organisational skills.
Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
